
Yin Yoga Nidra
Danny has combined the potent practices of Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra to give you a physical and mental reset of the body, mind and soul.
阴 yin is moon in Chinese. Yin Yoga is based on the feminine energy of the moon, the energy of nurturing, resting and relaxation. Each pose is held for over 2 minutes, giving enough space and time for the nervous system to rest and bring you into the parasympathetic. We will work through the bones, ligaments and deep tissue in specific points of the body, allowing for deep trauma and emotional blockages to be released effortlessly.
Then in Shavasana you will be guided on a Yoga Nidra journey. Yoga Nidra is a Pratyahara meditation where you simply listen to the guidance given and explore the different parts of the body and mind, all while trying not to fall asleep. It is an ancient practice designed to train your mind to move between the conscious and subconscious mind at will. This is ideal for anyone who has bodily pains and has trouble sleeping.
