How it Works

In the Thai Yoga Massage workshop, you will not only improve the vibrancy of your own energy, rejuvenating yourself energetically and physically, but focus on learning the principles of consciously moving the energy within others. These amazing techniques will be effectively transmitted using a combination of the traditional disciplines of Eastern and South American medicine, with Yogic and Ayurvedic principles.

Holistic Therapeutic Framework

Through this powerful tantric bodywork, the basics of Yoga Therapy are introduced to participants. If you are attracted to the benefits of Yoga, meditation, and massage and would like to integrate them within a holistic therapeutic framework, this course is for you!

What you Learn

The 15 course hours are evenly divided between theoretical instruction and practice. Students will learn a massage sequence focused on the feet, legs, hips, back, shoulders, neck, head and face, for clients who are lying down on the back. A simple introduction to massage theory will be given, and by the end of the course participants will be able to give a 30-minute massage.

What you Get

Course materials including a booklet, supplemental handouts, and a file of appropriate music will be provided to participants.

Is it for me?

Temple Art, Ancient Healing

Thai Yoga Massage is a bodywork method as groundbreaking as it is ancient and wise in its healing efficiency. This Yogic approach to energy-based bodywork relies on awareness of the system of nadi-s in the human being, a massive network of 72,000 energy points and channels, also known as meridians in Chinese medicine. Our life force is harmoniously conducted along these pathways in healthy, stress-free people living pure lifestyles. However, if a blockage emerges at one point along any nadi, the prana – or life force – no longer moves freely, and as a result, stagnation occurs, tension builds, and eventually disease can manifest. An impaired flow of prana can also result in more mundane ailments, such as lifelessness, fatigue, an imbalanced nervous system, loss of flexibility, poor circulation, emotional disharmony, and other conditions.
