Nizar – (Director/ Yoga teacher/ Ayurvedic Marma Therapist)

Yogi Nizar is a martial artist, yoga teacher, and Ayurvedic Marma therapist from Sri Lanka. His journey into yoga and spiritual healing began with a deep commitment to martial arts during his teenage years. This early passion led him to explore broader aspects of physical and spiritual wellness, eventually studying under Dr. Chintamani Gautam and Swami Padmasathwa at the Nepal Yoga Academy. He completed his Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in 2018 and has been actively teaching yoga since then.

In 2017, Nizar transitioned from a successful career as an IT consultant and engineer to fully embrace his calling in guiding others on their spiritual paths. Alongside his yoga practice, Nizar is a skilled Marma therapist with over 20 years of experience. Marma therapy, an ancient Ayurvedic practice, involves stimulating specific points on the body to promote healing and balance.

Yogi Nizar’s teachings emphasize the spiritual and meditative aspects of yoga, aiming to awaken the body’s primal energy and enhance overall well-being. He conducts various yoga retreats and workshops across Sri Lanka, integrating yoga with Ayurvedic practices for a holistic health approach. These retreats cater to practitioners of all levels, offering a blend of physical postures, deep meditation, and breathing exercises.

His extensive knowledge is continually deepened by his ongoing study of Vedic scriptures and ancient texts, allowing him to share a comprehensive understanding of yoga with his students. Those attending his sessions can expect a spiritually enriching experience that aims to improve both physical and mental health, as well as life skills applicable to everyday life.

Jules – (Director/ Yoga teacher/ Teacher Trainer/ Reiki Practitioner)

At an early age, Jules was able to create an understanding of movement and flow through calisthenics and ballet.  The practice and spirituality of yoga later came to her as a way to continue to move, teach and travel around the world. Both in teaching, and her own practice, she focuses on the old traditions & practices of yoga while bringing an incredible, modern personality to the practice.

Practicing yoga during her teenage years, Jules began to embark on learning yoga more deeply in January 2013.  Her first teacher training was over twelve months in 2012 studying Amrit Yoga-Meditation in Motion, mentored for another twelve months before she was given the permission to teach. The commitment and dedication ignited a sense of curiosity.

Developing a rich tapestry in yoga education since the completion of her first teacher training, she went on to study Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Reiki. The magic of yoga unveiled to her with such grace and her ability to conjure up her own powers to display for her students a connection to the ancient traditions and practice of yoga.

Jules has been guided under many local and international teachers, namely under the tutelage of global Prana Flow Teacher Shiva Rea. Assisting Shiva in international retreats and teacher trainings in Australia and Costa Rica. Further leading to her own retreats, immersions, teacher training in Bali, Sri Lanka and Australia.

Her teachings consist of mantras, mudras, pranayama, and asana, expanding into an embodied yogic journey.  She encourages growth and interconnection of the physical and spiritual self within students, and seeks to help others thrive by nurturing their own body and soul wisdom through yoga. Jules’ hopes her students will step off their mat and into everyday life with that same nourishment and compassion to life.

Nadine – (Manager/ Yoga teacher/ Reiki Practitioner)

From a younger age Nadine has felt connected to spirituality, perceiving life through an holistic lens. A perspective where body, mind and soul meet. From the age of 21 she got introduced to the practice of Yoga asanas, which followed into starting her personal daily practice and promoted a lifestyle of awareness.

These initial steps sowed the seeds of transformation, initially nurturing her physical well-being. However, she soon realized that the benefits extended beyond the body, enhancing her mental clarity, presence, and concentration.

At the age of 26 she attained certification in Reiki Therapy and completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification in Rishikesh, India. Throughout her Yoga Training, she delved into the holistic spectrum of Yoga, embracing various disciplines including Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation, and more. This lifestyle of heightened awareness has since propelled her forward, shaping her journey in profound ways. Since becoming a member of the One Bhakthi Team in 2022, she has been fortunate to receive guidance and wisdom from her mentors, enriching her practice on multiple levels.

Driven by her curiosity about human life, she has pursued diverse studies and courses exploring topics such as the human body, Coaching, Essential Oils, Yoga, and Reiki. Integrating this holistic approach into her own life and sharing it with others who are receptive has become integral to her journey. With her intuitive nature, Nadine creates a nurturing space for all individuals to explore and evolve.

Maduni – (Yoga Teacher/ Reiki Practitioner)

Maduni’s journey into yoga began several years back, during a period of profound challenges. It was a time that guided her towards a path of self-exploration, nurturing compassion and love for the soul through the practice of meditation. Through this sacred practice, she discovered the transformative power of yogic traditions like pranayama and asana, which gracefully supported her on her spiritual voyage.

In Maduni’s eyes, yoga transcends mere physical exercise; it is a sacred conduit for connecting with our innermost, divine selves. Through these ancient practices, one can cultivate a sanctuary of inner tranquility, a sanctuary from which our truest, most authentic selves can manifest in the external world. Having once grappled with questions of identity and purpose, Maduni intimately understands the profound effect that a consistent yogic practice can have in one’s life.

Now, Maduni sees yoga not just as a discipline, but as a compassionate companion—a guiding light through life’s ebb and flow, anchoring her in the present moment and nurturing a heart brimming with gratitude. Trained in the sacred arts of Ashtanga and Vinyasa, as well as a devoted practitioner of Kriya yoga and reiki, Maduni embarked on a transformative journey of yogic education at Sampoorna Yoga in India. This experience further fortified her practice and equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the asanas, anatomy, pranayama, and techniques for alignment and adjustments.

With an open heart overflowing with love, Maduni now humbly offers the wisdom gleaned from her journey—both from her formal training and personal exploration. It is her desire to share these teachings with you, imparting the transformative essence of yoga with the hope that it resonates and enriches your lives, just as it has hers.

Kami Sinan – (Thai Yoga Teacher)

Kami Sinan, born in Istanbul in 1965, embarked on a fascinating journey blending his expertise in various fields. After earning a degree in Textile Chemistry from Clemson University and an MBA from San Francisco State University, he returned to Turkey and worked in the textile industry. However, his passion for exploring ancient traditions soon led him to become a photojournalist for Atlas Magazine, where he delved into Siberian shamanic traditions and Native American cultures, producing documentaries along the way.

In 2004, Kami’s path took a new direction as he began his traditional Nuad Bo’rarn massage training at the Old Medicine Hospital in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Over the years, he developed his skills under various masters at prestigious schools such as ITM, SVG, and SMH, eventually starting to teach massage himself in 2007.

Kami made Thailand his home in 2009, where he deepened his practice by training in Hatha and Kundalini Yoga at Agama Yoga school. By 2014, he had become a yoga therapy instructor and, by 2016, had developed an innovative body therapy program called “Nadi Healing Touch,” which merged esoteric Tantric Hatha Yoga with Thai Yoga Massage. He trained numerous practitioners through his programs.

His pioneer spirit led him to establish Veranda Yoga & Wellness, a serene yoga studio, massage parlor, and sauna on Koh Phangan Island. After running the studio and stabilizing the training programs successfully, he returned to Turkey, where he founded Spanda Yoga School in Bodrum in 2017. There, he began offering her unique training programs in Turkey.

In 2018, Kami expanded his vision by opening the Spanda Yoga School’s Retreat Center in Istanbul, where he hosted Weekend Tantra Retreats, yoga camps, and specialization programs, all set against the peaceful backdrop of a forest. Post-pandemic, he shifted focus to online training, offering comprehensive programs that synthesize Neo Tantra and Classical Tantra teachings. Kami Sinan, a seasoned E-RYT500 yoga instructor registered with the International Yoga Alliance, continues to inspire and guide others on their paths to wellness and self-discovery.
